Europeans should spend more for their defense

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg proudly announced that, “after many years of substantial reductions in defense spending, the cuts have now practically stopped among European allies and Canada.” True, he acknowledged, “we need to do more.” Yes, “we” do. If the Europeans really believe Russia poses a serious military threat, their performance remains pitiful.
