How to travel to Brno

The distance between Prague and Brno is approximately 250 km. There is a highway D5 from Prague to Brno.

By car

• taxi – but it´s rather expensive to Brno
• rent a car – if you want to rent a car, you have several possibilities – please visit

By bus

• Czech Airlines provide bus transportation from Ruzyně Airport, Prague to Brno. For more information please visit www.csa.cz/en/.
• You can alco use the service of  ČSAD - please visit http://timetable.svt.cz/iBus/index.php.
• Or visit www.idos.cz – for a timetable of both buses and trains.
• The Student Agency provides transport by bus from Prague to Brno and back – please visit www.studentagency.cz.
• Approx. cost is 150 CZK for a one way ticket. Except for the Czech Airlines, all bus connections leave from the Prague bus terminal "Florenc". 

By train

You can use the service of Czech Railways Company (ČD a.s). For timetable of train connections please visit www.cd.cz or www.idos.cz.

By air

There are no flights between Prague and Brno.

Travelling in Brno

To the Defence University - from the Main Bus Station you have to take trams No. 12 or 13. For more information about Brno – www.brno.cz
